Dr Kosa, D.m.D.
Dr Kosa was raised in the greater Philadelphia area. He completed his undergraduate education at Temple University in 2008 graduating magna cum laude in biological sciences. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended the Temple University Dental School graduating magna cum laude.
Dr. Kosa was the recipient of numerous awards including the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons’ Dental Student Award, the International College of Dentists Student Leadership Award and induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society in 2012.
Upon completion of his doctorate, he was accepted into the Christiana Care Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency in Delaware. His surgical training encompassed the full scope of Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery including dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant/grafting surgery, facial trauma surgery, temporomandibular joint surgery, head/neck pathology, and correction of dentofacial deformities. During his residency, Dr. Kosa had the opportunity to travel overseas, providing surgical care to the underserved populations of Haiti and Honduras.
Dr. Kosa is proud to be a part of the Maryland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery community and the SMDOMS family. Outside of his career interests, Dr. Kosa enjoys spending time with family, recreational sports, traveling abroad, and grilling out.
